Hello and welcome back to Writing Prompt Friday! Like many people these days, I’m feeling a little fried in the head. So fried, I’m taking today off because I can’t even come up with a decent writing prompt for you; that’s how fried I am.
With that, here’s something writing-prompty (new phrase; you’re welcome English language) that you can do.
Write your own writing prompt and a piece of writing that goes with it.
Submit either or both in the comments below. Or just write because that’s the whole point of these prompts anyway, whether you share them or not.

When I was teaching creative writing to my grade 9 students, their favourite writing prompt was “Duck!” screamed Joe. Then they had to finish the story. Oh, the tales I got!
I love that! Talk about grabbing people’s attention. 🙂
