The best way to get approval is not to need it.
Hugh Macleod, How To Be Creative

Naysayers. When you decided to chase your dream, naysayers will be first in line to try to derail you. To convince you that you’ll never make it. That you shouldn’t even try.

They do this because, deep down, your dream scares them. Because if you enjoy even the smallest degree of success, you remove any excuse they have for not chasing their dreams. Because if you change the dynamics between you and them, they’re afraid of being found wanting.

Don’t listen to naysayers. Not chasing your dream does neither of you any good. It can only turn you into one of them, ready to kill someone else’s dream.
