Hello and welcome back to Writing Prompt Friday! Today is America’s Fourth of July. Independence Day. A day meant to celebrate our nation’s declaration of freedom as a nation. As a rule, I don’t get political on my blog. And I don’t intend to start. But I also think freedom is more than a matter of politics or human rights.

Freedom is complicated, multidimensional and personal. So this week, I offer the following prompt.

Describe freedom.
