Writing Prompt Friday (alternate)

WPF_SnowDucky

Hello and welcome back to Writing Prompt Friday! Well, for Christmas, I found and set out a mechanical cat that wears a holiday scarf, and that wiggles and meows to “Jingle Bells” when I squeeze its paw. And it meows with gusto. Loudly.

For some reason, it started wiggling and meowing without its paw being touched in any way by anything. At random hours of the day and night.

Husband took its battery out.

It stopped.

Then my Mickey Mouse Tsum Tsum toy started doing the same thing.

I’m a little creeped out.

Now on to this week’s writing prompt…

Write an alternate ending to the end of your day.

No limit on length.

I just wanted to say that I had the same thing happen with a musical wind-up snow globe that I’d put in a drawer and forgot about. One night about 3 am, it just started playing, even though I hadn’t wound it in years. Needless to say, I buried it in the garden…

Buried it in the garden? Good move. If it ever rises, you’ll see the tell-tale signs of a zombie snow globe. Complete with its own soundtrack.
